𝗧𝗿𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗹 𝗟𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁:

The idea behind this is so you give yourself less of on an excuse to pack up and move onto the fish. Location is so important in fishing and you have to be on the fish to catch them. If the fish are showing at the other end of the lake the best chance of catching is to move onto them.

𝗕𝗮𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗔𝗽𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗮𝗰𝗵:

Fishing for a bite at a time is typically the way forward at this time of the year. The fish are not really feeding hard and often a single hook bait with a PVA mesh bag can be all it takes to get that bite.

𝗗𝗼𝗻❜𝘁 𝗜𝗴𝗻𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗭𝗶𝗴𝘀:

Zigs can be a lethal method at this time of the year. The water temperature is still cold, yet the air temperature and the sun can really start to warm up those upper layers. The fish will want to be where the water is warmest and often during the spring it will be in the upper layers.
